Operation Mincemeat to Open on Broadway

After much deliberation, fighting, and countless email surveys, it’s been announced that Operation Mincemeat will open on Broadway next year.
The 2024 Olivier Award Winning Best Musical was written by Spitlip and tells the true story of the WWII Operation that fooled Hitler and his Nazi’s by misdirecting them with the real dead body of a fake soldier - really gardener Glyndwr Martin.
Originating as a small fringe production, with runs at Riverside Studios and Southwark Playhouse, Spitlip both wrote and starred in the original production. This transferred to London’s Fortune Theatre and earned the team multiple Olivier nominations, and two big wins.
Operation Mincemeat is set to begin previews on 15th February 2025 at the John Golden Theatre for a limited 18 week run. No casting has been confirmed.
