Daisy Edgar-Jones and Kingsley Ben-Adir to star in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof

Following on from the success of the Almeida's previous productions A Streetcar Named Desire and Summer and Smoke, here comes a third revival of a Tennessee Williams play. It has just been announced that Cat on a Hot Tin Roof will open at the theatre later this year.

Directed by Rebecca Frecknall, the 1955 classic is set to star BAFTA nominee Kingsley Ben-Adir (Barbie) and Golden Globe nominee Daisy Edgar Jones (Normal People).

Further cast members include Guy Burgess (The Lavender Hill Mob), Clare Burt (Stephen Sondheim’s Old Friends), Seb Carrington (Summer and Smoke), Derek Hagen (The View UpStairs), Lennie James (A Number, Mufasa), Ukweli Roach (Nightfall) and Ria Zmitrowicz (Sherwood, The Doctor).

Cat on a Hot Tin Roof will run from 10 December 2024 to 1 February 2025, with press night on 17 December. Further details to follow.
